My Top Story Of The Century

 1.    Japan bombs Pearl Harbor and the US enters WW2 ; 1941


This first article I chose discusses the Pearl Harbor attack. This happened on December 7,1941 when we were bombed by pearl harbor. It was a surprise strike by Japan, and salty left many many people dead. they attacked us because the thought it was going to prevent the US from entering Southeast Asia, but it actually only made things worse. This sparked the beginning of WW2. I Though this was one of the most top three because it talks about the US history. It also talks about theories about why everything happened and how it started and ended.




 2.   Albert Einstein presents special theory of relativity: general relativity theory to follow 1905.         

The second article I picked is about Albert Einstein. He  is one of the greatest scientists ever to live. The theory has legacy for physics, and supports understanding of the universe. For the most part. So Albert Einstein observed the laws of physics are the same for all observers, in 1905.


3. Women Win the Vote 1920

The third article I picked is about women's rights and how important it is. Women have fought for the right to vote for so long, they have been wanting to have the same rights as men, and on August 18, 1920. It finally happened. This event is extremely important because it gave a huge chunk of equality, to women's rights. It gave the women who wanted to be more than just a women, they wanted to have the jobs and have more opportunities.
