1. Why was it so interesting that Mr. Trump made a deal without the support of the rest of his party leaders?
The situation is interesting because he make a different decision to solve the problem instead of siding with the democrats.
2. What do you think motivated Mr. Trump to reach this decision without the support of his party leaders?
Trump's decision making was very pressured in this situation but his decision put the democrats on top.
3. What do you think the GOP leaders think about Mr. Trump now that he has broken away from their wishes?
The leaders did not like the decision, but they did put up with it.
4. Do you think the United States will benefit from this attempt by Mr. Trump to reach "across the aisle" to the Democratic side in this decision?
The US will benefit from this because this decision shows, that he is more able to get a deal accomplished and work things out.
