 2. Briefly, in 2-3 paragraphs, tell me what you expect the plot to be in the movie, based on the real life events?

 The plot starts off on a ship, with crew members and a captain who are transporting cargo. When they spot two other boats that they aren't familiar with, they do there best to defend themselves. Over the course of a couple of days the pirates get close enough to the ship to be able to get on. 

 When the pirates get on the ship they use there weapons and take over. They take the captain hostage and ask for money to get him back. When the money isn't given to them, they take the captain and leave the ship onto a lifeboat. Eventually they get the captain back after they navy has to get involved. 

 3. Why did the pirates try to take the ship?

 The pirates tried to take the ship because they wanted the cargo to get money for it, and when that didn't work they took the captain to hold him for ransom money.

 It costed $218.8 million to make. (woah)
