Sport: Dance Ranking (top five universities): - Minnesota Golden Gophers - University of Cincinnati - Ohio State Dance Team - San Diego State Dance Team - University of Kentucky Team's Performance: Minnesota Golden Gophers The Minnesota Dance team usually preforms at football and basketball games as well as competitions. The team has won nationals consistently for the past 4 years in their Jazz and Pom dances. They have also won the Pom category every year since 2010, because they have been they only ever to qualify. This year the team finished 1st in jazz and 2nd the year before. There are no playoffs in dance, but we have nationals which is kind of like "dance Super Bowl." This competition is like the last competition of the season and it's the biggest one too. This is where all the dance teams from regionals from everyone across the US compete in one completion.
